Once
upon a time in the land of New England, there lived
a young girl that was a trained technologist at a
hospital by day and an artist by night. That young
girl was me. My dream was to make my art a full time
career. I enrolled myself in a china painting course
and this dream became a reality. I began experimenting
with this new medium and was invited to travel with
various art groups to display and sell my work. I
continued to learn, experiment, and explore various
techniques of lusterware.
Lusterware is a form of
china painting that was prominent in the English country
homes in the 1800's. The effect of Lusterware is the
glass like finish it creates on china. My fondness
for things that sparkle is evident in my crystal embellishments
and 22kt gold trimmings.
My work is known for it's
fine and beautiful quality. Today my work is sold
in stores all over the world. Some of our accounts
include "Disney World", "Graceland", "Bergdorf Goodman",
and the "Mirage". I have come a long way from working
in a hospital to, now, owning a factory where all
of my designs are produced by artists that are trained
by myself to carry out my designs. I continue to explore
and experiment to create the beautiful works you see
displayed on our site.
